Thank you to the Meadow View community for making the 2026 Otter Trot a huge success! We are collecting donations until Thursday, September at 11:59 p.m.

Otter Trot 2026 is almost here! Join us on Thursday, October 15 for a morning of movement, music, and major Otter energy.
The Otter Trot is a fun run for all Meadow View students and a fundraiser to support students, teachers, and our Otter community. Students run and walk from 8 to 20 minutes and celebrate physical fitness.
We hope you will join us to cheer on your student and all our Otters on October 15.
Where: Students will be running around the bus circle located by the Meadow View playground.
When: Each grade has its own designated time to run. Below are the times each class will be participating:
What to bring:
We’d love your help counting laps, passing out snacks, making signs, and cheering on our runners.
Volunteering all morning? Amazing — thank you! If you’d rather focus fully on your kiddo during their run, feel free to cheer during their slot and volunteer in another.
We appreciate every minute you’re able to give. See you at the Otter Trot on October 15!
Here's a little bit more about our why and what we plan to do with the money we raise - it's all about our students, our teachers, and our families. The money we raise will go a long way to help us support our mission to strengthen our school community so that every Otter learns, every Otter leads, and every Otter belongs. To do that, the SCO hosts meetings and events for families to connect and build community. We also work to directly meet the needs of our teacher, students, and families as well as support student success.
If we raise $12,000 through the Otter Trot, we will use the money on the following activities:
We know some Otter families will not be able to donate and that is ok! We hope families who can donate will. Every dollar counts and every donation will get us one step closer to meeting our fundraising goals.
This year, we are not only tracking the overall amount we raise, we are also going to be tracking fundraising by grade level teams. The teams are based on Meadow View's ecosystems in the building that designate the grade and classroom locations across the building. Otter families will donate to the grade team or teams of their students.
Here are the grades that are teaming up:
We will have incentives for the entire school as we meet fundraising milestones. For example, all students will get an extra recess if we reach $4,000. We will also have incentives for when our grade teams reach certain fundraising milestones. For example, students on the grade teams will get small tokens like a sticker when the grade team reaches $1,000.
Thank you for helping us support our Meadow View Otters. By working together, we can ensure every Otter learns, leads, and belongs.
